Over the course of our lives, it is not uncommon to experience feelings of being lost or stuck. These feelings, when left unchecked, can result in negative thoughts, behaviours, or fears that act as barriers and keep us from living the life we desire.
Attending therapy can provide you with a safe, neutral, and non-judgemental space with access to the tools to help you address a variety of issues that affect your quality of life. As an RN Psychotherapist with degrees in Bachelor of Environmental Studies and Political Science from Trent University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I bring a diverse background and a wealth of knowledge to help you succeed, clarify your values, and see where change is waiting for you.
My areas of interest include Depression, Anxiety, Stress Management, Substance Use, Major life changes, transitions and loss, Self-esteem and self-compassion, and Relationship Difficulties. My diverse educational background and experience in fields such as Cardiology, street-level nursing, mental health and addiction, and food security equip me with a multifaceted understanding of the various challenges individuals face.

When I am not working, I find solace in gardening and woodwork, activities that keep me grounded and continuously learning, mirroring the growth and development I hope to foster in our sessions.
I will work with you to navigate these challenges and offer personalized reflection and goal-setting to begin healing toward a brighter future. I believe we all have the internal resources to restore within ourselves a sense of resilience and inner strength. I recognize that there are a variety of methods to manage and treat mental health, and as such, I bring a flexible approach to my care and the modalities I employ.
